Architects & General Contractors

This project was a design/build task that incorporated demolition, renovation and new additions. While the original architectural theme of the house was Colonial, it lacked essential details that could have made the house more attractive.

Exterior renovations began with removing the gabled front porch entry and installing a correctly proportioned Doric porch with Chippendale rail. We also added shutters and dormers. These minor design elements made a striking difference in the curb appeal of the home.

In addition to the entrance, shutters and dormers, we also designed a new garage and connector that complimented the main house.

The most involved design/build effort dealt with the kitchen. We completely gutted the original kitchen and doubled the area of the kitchen to 480 square feet. The kitchen is now the center of activity when entertaining.

With over 60 feet of counter and appliance space, this kitchen allows friends and family to join in or simply watch as the chef or chefs do their magic.

Interior columns, decorative trim, hardwood flooring, handsome cabinetry and a coffered ceiling add to the Colonial ambiance.

The before and after photos clearly exhibit the complexity and success of this project.
