This house in Forest, Virginia was inspired by the Tidewater Plantation houses along the James River that were constructed in the early 1700’s. Detailing such as a brick water table, bull nose window sills and nosing's, bold muntin’s, jack arches, pediment surrounds & dormers are reminiscent of Colonial Virginia.  Upon entry into the house, visitors are met by a spiral stair, interior columns, arched dividers and mahogany flooring.
